Meteorology graduate student, Jared Lee, wins "Best Overall Presenation" award from the American Meteorological Society

Meteorology PhD student, Jared Lee, opened his mail this week to find a very nice surprise--a certificate and monetary award for "Best Overall Presentation" from the American Meteorological Society (AMS) for the presentation of a paper titled "Evaluating NWP Ensemble Configurations for AT&D Applications."  The paper, co-authored with fellow graduate students and faculty members, Walter C. Kolczynski, Tyler C. McCandless, Kerrie J. Long, Sue Ellen Haupt, David R. Stauffer, and Aijun Deng, was presented by Jared at the 16th Conference on Air Pollution Meteorology during the AMS 90th Annual Meeting held in Atlanta, GA from 18-21 January 2010.  Congratulations Jared!
