— filed under:

'Frank' Talks are research discussions held each Friday from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the Alfred K. Blackadar Reading Room (529 Walker).  Talks are open to all members of the Department of Meteorology and any interested parties within the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences and beyond.  The name 'Frank' Talks is derived from Professor Emeritus, William Frank, who has generously provided an endowment to encourage and promote graduate student/faculty interaction in the Department.
