Meteorology 75th Anniversary

We're planning an anniversary bash!

We excited to announce that we'll be celebrating 75 years of Meteorology at Penn State in 2010!  To recognize this diamond anniversary, we’re planning an alumni reunion celebration during Arts Festival Weekend, July 9-11, 2010.

We’re working hard to make this celebration a fun and memorable event for you and your family.  The agenda will include an informal family BBQ on Friday evening, and a  range of activities to entertain and enlighten you on Saturday, including tours of the newly renovated weather station complex.  

Details on lodging will be available shortly.  Don’t worry, we’ve blocked off rooms at several local hotels and have reserved part of Irvin Hall.  When information does become available, we encourage you to book early.

Please share this information will your fellow alumni and friends of the Department.  It will be a great time to reminisce, meet former and new faculty members, and learn about the future of the department.
